Ruelle Canin began as a passion project two people with a love for dogs, working breeds, and the powerful connection that comes from real engagement. We’re not a big brand. We’re not a faceless company. We’re a small, hands-on team creating gear we believe in, right here in Montreal.
Inspired by drive, focus, and the working instinct, we design and handcraft every tug, leash, and collar with purpose. Every product is tested, refined, and made to hold up not just in training, but in everyday moments that strengthen the bond between dog and human.
We believe in meaningful play not just throwing a toy, but building trust, challenging drive, and connecting through action. That’s the kind of interaction we aim to support with every piece of gear we make.

WE STAND FOR
Ruelle Canin was built from the ground up by two dog lovers with a passion for working breeds, quality gear, and the bond between handler and dog. What started as a hands-on project in Montreal quickly became a mission: to make durable, functional, and beautiful equipment that dogs actually love and that owners can rely on. Everything we design is tested, refined, and made to perform.
Craftsmanship
We don’t cut corners. Every tug, collar, and leash is handmade here in Montreal with care, using materials we trust like double-braid marine-grade rope and tough, tooth-safe Durafoam. Each piece is built with purpose, because we know what it’s like to want gear that performs, feels right, and lasts.
Drive
Drive is what fuels everything we do and it’s what we admire most in the dogs we build for. Our products are made to channel that energy: to motivate, to focus, to play hard. Whether it’s a training session or a game of tug, our gear is designed to meet that intensity head-on and bring out the best in every dog.
